Environmental Mold Testing and Help Understanding Your Results

ImmunoLytics is an environmental testing laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our kits help you collect samples for laboratory analysis, followed by a report and consultation.

Affordable

Choose the samples and services you need. A custom mold plate with analysis starts at $36. Compare current kit prices and inclusions.

Comprehensive

Plate reports describe mold genera and colony counts from the submitted samples. Your consultation helps explain those findings and the limits of the method.

Simple

Kits purchased with analysis include collection supplies, laboratory analysis, a report, and a consultation. Check the selected kit for sample counts and return postage; spare supplies sold without analysis are separate.

Committed

Discuss your report, collection locations, and appropriate environmental next steps with an expert. We can help you consider whether a qualified building or moisture investigation is needed.

Understand the Samples You Submit

Different collection and laboratory methods answer different questions. A plate result reflects growth under the test conditions; a surface swab describes the material sampled. Neither can identify every mold species, locate an exact hidden source, or certify a building as safe.

Compare methods, costs, and limitations before ordering. If a clinician or other professional requested ERMI, HERTSMI-2, or another specific method, confirm that exact request. ImmunoLytics plate, swab, and Dust History services do not supply those DNA scores.

Environmental results do not diagnose or treat illness. CDC/NIOSH says short-term spore and culture counts cannot establish health risk, and EPA says visible mold usually does not require sampling. Address moisture and visible growth without waiting for a laboratory result.
