Every Mold Check-Up Includes Consultation

 A consultation with an IEP is the final step of the Mold Check-Up after testing your space and sending your samples to our lab for analysis. If you have received a mold report and requested the consultation, one of our experts will contact you within three business days. If you haven’t already, you should fill out a Consultation Worksheet in preparation for your consult. This worksheet is the last page of your mold report, or can be downloaded below. What is an Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP)?

An Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP) is a certified specialist trained to locate mold sources, assess indoor air quality, interpret laboratory test results, and recommend appropriate remediation steps. ImmunoLytics IEPs hold credentials including Certified Mold Inspector (CMI) and Certified Mold Remediation Contractor (CMRC).

What does a consultation with an ImmunoLytics IEP include?

A consultation with an ImmunoLytics IEP, supervised by JW Biava, CMI, CMRC, is the final step of the Mold Check-Up. After your laboratory results are ready, an IEP reviews your mold report, discusses your results, explains what the findings mean for your health environment, and helps you create a plan for remediation and recovery.

How do I request a consultation with an IEP?

A consultation is included when you request it as part of your Mold Check-Up order. If you did not initially request a consultation but would like one after receiving your results, email us at info@immunolytics.com or call (505) 217-0339 and we will schedule one for you.

What credentials do ImmunoLytics IEPs hold?

ImmunoLytics IEPs are credentialed in multiple disciplines including: Industrial Hygiene Technician, Certified Mold Inspector (CMI), Certified Mold Remediation Contractor (CMRC), AHERA Inspector, and Certified Lead Inspector. These credentials are held by each member of our active IEP team.

Can an ImmunoLytics IEP provide a medical diagnosis?

No. ImmunoLytics IEPs are environmental specialists, not physicians. While our IEPs have deep expertise in mold-related symptoms and illness patterns, they cannot provide a medical diagnosis. They help you understand your environmental results and create a plan for addressing mold sources in your home or workplace.

How long does it take to receive a consultation after submitting samples?

Once your samples are analyzed and your mold report is ready, an ImmunoLytics IEP will contact you within three business days to schedule your consultation. The total time from sample submission to consultation is typically 7–14 days depending on shipping and lab processing time.
